Climate Change
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Today, we talked about climate change in our workshop. Here are some ways that I try to be environmentally friendly:

Bike/walk instead of drive
Use the metro/bus when its cold
Compost food
Don't litter
Recycle
Try not to buy packaged food
Follow a vegetarian diet
Use a travel mug for coffe or tea
Buy fair trade/organic/local products when possible
...

That's what I can come up with for now! I think its really important to be conscious of environmental issues and try to think about it in your day to day life. We can all make a difference with our own actions!

Absolutely true Rachel. I am excited to know that today's workshop about Climate Change has allowed us to think about what we can do to solve the problem instead of understanding Climate Change or it science without thinking of possible and simple solutions to it.

The kids in the Dawson Community Center were also interested about this environmental issue as I realized today. They came up with good thoughts and comments about Climate Change as I read in their first TIGblogs. So, that's really encouraging !

Finally, see you next Friday with a new workshop: Change That Clicks !
